Build with flows

Share, import and restore flows

Move a flow between channels and recover an earlier version.

4 min readUpdated

Export a flow

Open the flow and press Export to download its JSON. Review messages, links and configured values before sharing it. Exported flows describe the graph; they do not make another channel’s variables, Twitch rewards or permissions appear automatically.

Import someone else’s flow

  1. On the Flows page, choose Import….
  2. Paste the shared flow and inspect the validation results and requirements.
  3. Complete the import, then open the new flow. Imports arrive paused.
  4. Map any channel-specific values, check each node and run a dry test before enabling it.

Share an install link

Use Share in a flow’s editor to publish a reusable template through the sharing controls. Review its contents and visibility first. The recipient installs a copy in their channel and can adapt it independently.

Recover an earlier version

Open History in the flow editor, inspect a previous version and use the restore control when you want to bring it back. Verify the restored graph and its live state. Deleted flows can be restored from Flows → Trash during the 30-day retention period.
