Run your channel

Set up moderation helpers

Combine moderation filters with deliberate, permission-checked flows.

4 min readUpdated

Start with the bot’s access

On Links, check the bot account your channel uses. Make that account a moderator in your Twitch chat using the command shown in the Setup guide. Re-authorise a connection if the dashboard reports missing permissions.

Configure the filters

Open Moderation and review each filter and its configured response. Set thresholds, exemptions and escalation deliberately for your community. Save your settings and observe the result before enabling several new rules at once.

Add a helper flow

The Moderation helpers pack includes tools such as Spam guard, Third strike and moderator commands for the stream title and category. Open each installed flow to review its trigger, role checks and action.

Check what happened

Use a flow’s Run log to inspect its path and failures. Use Audit Log to see who changed channel configuration. Bulk moderation jobs are on Nukes; review the job details before considering a rollback. Test fire simulates actions without timing out or banning real viewers.
