# What’s new in Bloopbot New features and changes to Bloopbot, newest first, each with the guide that shows you how to use it. Updated 24 September 2026 ## 24 September 2026: A guide to marking moments in your VOD The **Stream marker** step drops a marker in your VOD when a flow runs, so you can find that moment again in Twitch’s highlight editor after the stream. Its optional **Note** can name who or what it was, such as the raider. [Mark a moment for your highlights](https://bloopbot.com/docs/polls-and-predictions#markers) is a new walkthrough: bookmark every raid of ten or more viewers, then shout out the raider. ## 24 September 2026: Bring your commands over from Nightbot or StreamElements Bloopbot can read your channel’s public command list on Nightbot or StreamElements and turn each command into its own flow. You don’t sign in to the old bot, and nothing changes there. - Open it from step 2 of the **Setup guide**, or from **Flows → + New flow → From another bot**. - Each row shows who could use the command, its cooldown and its reply as Bloopbot will send it. - Some commands can arrive as Bloopbot’s own shoutout, clip, quote or giveaway entry, or keep your reply. You choose before you bring them over. - Tick **Turn on now** for the commands you want answering chat straight away. Everything else arrives paused. Everything listed is reviewed first, and it always installs paused. See [Export several flows as one bundle](https://bloopbot.com/docs/sharing-flows#export-bundle). ## 24 September 2026: Sign in with email when Twitch can’t Add a backup sign-in email under **Account**, confirm it, and you can still open your dashboard if you ever can’t sign in with Twitch. It doesn’t create a new account: it signs you in to the one you already have. [Keep a backup way to sign in](https://bloopbot.com/docs/backup-sign-in-email) walks through it. ## 24 September 2026: A new sidebar: Build, Run and Manage The sidebar is now a narrow strip of buttons with a panel of pages beside it. **Build** holds **Flows** and **Widgets**, **Run** holds what you use during a stream, and **Manage** holds what you set once or check afterwards. A prediction flow can tell **Resolved (winner paid out)** from **Cancelled (points refunded)**, so a cancelled prediction never claims a winner. [Choose the moment](https://bloopbot.com/docs/polls-and-predictions#moments) lists every choice. ## 23 September 2026: The link filter sees through disguised links The link filter now catches a link written to slip past it: spaced or spelled out (`example dot com`), in look-alike or fancy letters, or broken up with invisible characters. The blacklist sees through the same disguises. Whatever a filter does — warn, delete or time out — the message it caught is now always deleted. A first-offence warning only spares the viewer the timeout. See [Add a helper flow](https://bloopbot.com/docs/moderation#helpers). ## 23 September 2026: Alerts live on your overlays Add an alert from **Add** in any overlay’s editor: follow, sub, resub, gift sub, cheer, raid, redemption or custom. - The first time you add a type, Bloopbot makes its design and a flow that plays it. - A design belongs to your channel, so one design can show on as many overlays as you like. - Every alert waits its turn in one queue, so nothing overlaps. See [Start from the Counter templates](https://bloopbot.com/docs/variables#counter-template). - **Welcome new chatters** greets each viewer once, after their first line in chat, and stays quiet after that. See [Welcome first-time chatters](https://bloopbot.com/docs/variables#welcome-chatters). ## 22 September 2026: Giveaways get their own page and a panel for OBS A giveaway is now a record with its own rules: the prize, the word that enters it, how many winners there are, and how a winner claims it. Set it up once and open it when you are ready. The **Giveaway** widget puts it on stream: the prize, the keyword, how many entries are in, the last few people who entered, and the draw itself. Wire the **error** branch of a step that can fail into it, and a viewer whose attempt went wrong can try again straight away instead of waiting out the cooldown. [Make your chat box react to chat](https://bloopbot.com/docs/chat-box) shows each one. ## 21 September 2026: Build one overlay from several pieces An overlay is now made of layers: a chat box, a goal bar and a counter can sit on one overlay, each where you put it. [Arrange your overlay](https://bloopbot.com/docs/arrange-your-overlay) shows how. ## 21 September 2026: Pick your real Twitch rewards A channel points flow’s **Reward** field lists the rewards your channel has, with what each one costs, so you pick instead of typing a name. A reward renamed on Twitch shows as **(not on Twitch now)** until you pick the new one. [Pick the reward](https://bloopbot.com/docs/reward-redemptions#pick) has the details. ## 20 September 2026: Ask the AI judge inside a flow **AI: yes or no** and **AI: route by meaning** are two new condition nodes: ask a plain-English question about a chat message, and branch a flow on the answer instead of hard-coding rules. Not available on every channel yet — check **Your plan** from the Flows page. [Ask the AI judge in a flow](https://bloopbot.com/docs/ai-conditions-and-routing) shows both nodes. ## 20 September 2026: React to polls, predictions and hype trains Bloopbot can now announce a poll winner, say who won a prediction and how many points were in play, and cheer each hype train level — install the ready-made reactions, or start a poll or prediction from a flow and lock or settle it later. **Test fire** plays a realistic made-up event so you can check a reaction before it runs for real. [React to polls, predictions and hype trains](https://bloopbot.com/docs/polls-and-predictions) has the details. ## 20 September 2026: Move a goal bar or on-screen counter from a flow A goal bar or a counter widget can now follow a variable your flows keep, so a chat command, a bits cheer or a raid can move the number on screen.
